HaChi Yu & Miriam Parker

Spring Awake- A Jivamukti Yoga and Buddhist Meditation Retreat by The Prana Life

Jivamukti Yoga is an integrated practice that places compassion as the path towards enlightenment. The 5 tenets of practice are non-harming, devotion, deep listening, study, and meditation. Samatha is a traditional Buddhist practice that translates as ‘mind-calmness’. Samatha furthers the right- concentration aspect of the Noble Eight Fold path. These complementary pillars of practice are explored through physical practices that are intelligent, creative and awakening for the spirit. HaChi & Miriam have grown up together walking the path as sisters, dancers, students and teachers. Through wit and wisdom and everyday joys these paths merge and the spirit is awakened, once again.
