Marianela Ortiz

Marianela has dedicated her entire life to the mastery of the healing arts, wellness studies, body-work modalities, holistic yoga / movement, and transformational musical performance.

Born in Costa Rica, she began training at the age of six under her father’s mentorship, who studied at the prestigious Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, California. She graduated as physical therapist from the Centro de Balance Integral in Costa Rica and also worked as acupressure instructor for blind students, developing the Chivu Day Hai, the true art of feeling.
After several years working as a physical therapist and singer in Costa Rica, she returned to the United States to attend the Acupressure Institute at Berkeley, California, where she also studied other methodologies, such as shiatzu, tuina, and breema.
Later, she expanded her study of the healing arts, becoming an instructor of holistic balance, Reiki, energetic balance, and yoga, integrating elements from hatha yoga, Sufi-Kundalini yoga, hara yoga, and much more into her classes. Marianela Ortiz also has trained in gaia yoga or sound yoga and frequently incorporates singing into her practice.

Marianela has spent 30+ years dedicating herself to raising the vibration of humanity through international trainings, spiritual exploration, professional consulting, and conscious creation of wellness programs and Immersive experiences offered at Festivals around the world and in her own healing and rejuvenating retreats. Her connection to the Earth as a native Costa Rican, lifelong musical career, and soul-aligned studies have allowed her to share her gifts and impact thousands of lives globally.
